Designed for groups of up to six guests, Lone Pine offers experiences ranging from 30 minute animal encounters to full day programs. Check out the range below and make your booking today.

Junior & Teen Keeper for a Day Come and join the wildlife fun this holiday season by becoming a keeper for a day!
A fully supervised day with experienced wildlife education officers, junior and teen keepers will undergo tasks of a wildlife officer and even get a peek behind the scenes! Escort dingoes or wombats on their daily walks, get close to scaly snakes, pretend to be a tree for owls and koalas and even get your hands dirty by cleaning animal enclosures!
In between genuine, hands-on wildlife officer tasks, teen keepers attend mini lectures, focusing on the importance of health, enrichment, training, cleaning and feeding of over 90 species of native animals.

Keeper for a DayThe adult Keeper for a Day program is designed to give you an insight into what it's really like to work with animals. If you are enthusiastic, energetic, don't mind getting your hands dirty, physically fit and LOVE Australian animals, this experience could be just what you've been looking for!

Please note: this is not a behind the scenes tour, it's so much more! You will be immersing yourself in the full range of keeper duties and will therefore need to dress appropriately - not all tasks are glamorous!

Plantinum Tour A full day (9am - 3pm) guided adventure exploring the Sanctuary, including behind-the-scenes access and close wildlife encounters. This guided tour is the ultimate package at Lone Pine. A small group of up to six guests is treated to: observing animals in training, wildlife health checks, meet and greet with animals (including professional photos with a few of our stars!), animal feeding, VIP treatment at shows and exclusive behind the scenes access including the wildlife hospital. Morning tea and lunch is provided and you will receive your professional photo package and Platinum Tour gift at the end of your day.

Sanctuary Highlights Tour Only have a few hours to spare but don't want to miss a thing? As the name suggests, this three hour guided tour explores the highlights of Lone Pine, while incorporating daily shows and exclusive encounter opportunities. This tour commences at 12pm and concludes at 3pm.

Behind The Scenes Tour This two hour tour is your exclusive pass to step behind-the-scenes and see how the animal sections of Lone Pine operate! Includes access to the Sanctuary before opening hours as well as hands-on interaction and photo opportunities. This tour commences at 8.30am and concludes at 10.30am.

Wild Encounters Wild Encounters gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with your favourite Australian animals and their keepers. This is much more than a meet and greet, these encounters are snapshots of keeper and animal life at Lone Pine.
