Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary's 'Keeper for a Day' program allows wildlife enthusiasts the opportunity to gain behind the scenes experience of what it's like to be a wildlife keeper.
We can help create one of the most memorable wildlife experiences you may ever experience. Not only will you receive a fully guided tour (including behind the scenes and the wildlife hospital!), you will have the opportunity to learn what it is really like to be an animal keeper and spend one on one time with one of our experienced keepers, assisting them with daily duties.
The program includes koala photo gift pack, BBQ lunch, T-shirt and Certificate. The program runs for 7 hours with 1 hour for lunch. Spaces are extremely limited so be sure to get in quick so you don't miss out.
Please note: this is not a behind the scenes tour, it's so much more! You will be immersing yourself in the full range of keeper duties and will therefore need to dress appropriately - not all tasks are glamorous!

Platinum Tour
This is the all access tour. You will be met by one of our experienced keepers you will than guide around the sanctuary, giving you insights into our wonderful native wildlife. Then go behind the scenes with a visit to our animal hospital.
Access into Koala enclosures is next on the list where you will be able to get nice and close to get that perfect photo. There will also be ample opportunities to get unique photographs that you can't normally get.
The tour lasts for 2 hours and includes a koala cuddle photo. Price is $190 per person and runs from 9:15am until 11:15am. Available Monday - Friday. Pre-book here
